MAR 18

Repping Koreatown has never been easier! This shoot is off the chain.  Here's some more damn songs for you all.  Fresh and steamy.  Hope you enjoy.  Look out for some upcoming collaborations with Tony Ortega from What Would You Doobie?  He's a badass dude and a killer beat factory.  It's going to be one hundred percent sex.  Big ups to the people coming out to The Salon and any visitors to Synchronicity LA.  There have been some super cool individuals hanging out at the spot, and we are excited to be opening a second house on our beloved BLVD.  That will bring us to a total of five dwellings on this one street!  Shit!  I am beside myself and everyone else.  Keep a look out for the second half of March to be out in a little more than two weeks...

Are you in a band?  Good for you, either way.  If you are, I can offer a very unique service.  A one of a kind product that will make you fall in love with music all over again.  "What is this magic service?", you might be asking yourself.  The answer is simple, my friend.  Dance party.  Possibly a pants off dance off.  I can't say for sure.  Next time your band has a gig, call up the old Catfish (me) and let me get it started correctly.  Any of the songs you hear below, on request, and performed between acts.  The worst part about a concert is waiting while a band is setting up.  I'm getting my groove on, then the band ends, and I'm supposed to just sit there for 20 minutes.  Buzz kill dot com.  That shit needs to be cut out, and MC Draperies has got the scissors.  Snip!

Woowie! Time is flying like a light up frisbee.  Feburary is so fucking short.  Oh well.  I am switching to an every other week post, more bang for your visit.  Twice the bang to be specific.  Four tracks, half a month's worth of work.  Hope you likey.  Later this month I got a collabo coming with MC Playplace and Your Frnd Ben.  It's gonna be dope.  Your Frnd Ben has a sick studio in Covina and he's been doing legit shit with Tin Santos, Elegant Bachelor and Bermuda Erns to name a few.  Thanks Ben for the hook up!  Wanna give a quick shout out to The Salon, it's been getting progressively sicker and I can't wait for the next one.  Piece.

Damn, a bit behind schedule.  That's only because of a badass weekend in Big Bear celebrating my main man T Rex's birthday.  Super sick with it the whole time.  Johanna Chase was nice enough to set up a mic and a little talent show unfolded.  Big props to everyone!  The songs should be up soon at shiftartistcollective.com.  Check it out, the site is rad.  The project is going pretty well, I can't believe it's all ready Feb!  Watch out for the EP JAN. coming soon.  Email me if you want a copy.  Aw yeah.

JAN 28

Yo! Week three is fresh from the oven, the Dutch oven.  Whoa!  The song "Fluting" is the first official guest track (more to come soon).  Synch sweetheart Bethany Ulrich guests and kills it on the flute.  Thanks for your help Busy B!  The Salon just happened, big ups to all who came out.  A great time was had by all, plus a lot of good music and art was shared.  Next one is in two weeks, so keep you ears to the ground.  Beers!

All damn right! Here's the first two songs in the project. It's been really fun so far, and I'm going to be blogging about the experience, so check back once a week for more tracks.  Or, better yet, just subscribe to this blog and I'll give you a bunch of tracks that were getting me ready for this challange.  Much love to everyone who cares.

This is on a tile.  It is for a project to use art as stepping stones through a garden.  There are two others in my bathroom to test which varnish will hold up to water best. Jan. 10 2010

This is a close up of the burning man project, I still have a few and more to come soon.  Dec 12 2009

Here is most of the Burning Man 2009 series.  Fifty pen drawings that were given away, mostly.  It was pretty fun. Aug 28 2009
